The Last Man Standing contest is explained below:

Rounds will contain a side contest, which will be a knockout tournament where players are paired up at random and the winner of each pairing goes through to the next round. The scoring system for The Last Man Standing will be Match Play. In Match Play the game is played by holes. Each players handicap is compared. If Player 1 has a handicap of 10 and Player 2 has a handicap of 5, then Player 1 gets a five-stroke advantage and Player 2 plays off "scratch". These five strokes apply to the five most difficult holes, i.e. hole index 1 through 5. So for example if both players shoot a 4 on hole index 1 then Player 1 wins the hole because he gets a 1 stoke advantage on that hole. A hole is halved if each player finishes with the same net score. The player with the most winning holes at the completion of the round wins the Match Play.

If the Match Play is tied after the 18th hole, a count back will be applied to determine the winner, starting from the easiest handicap hole (index 18) i.e., Player 1 scores a bogey and Player 2 scores a par on the 18th handicap hole, Player 2 wins the hole assuming Player 1 does not get a stroke on the 18th handicap hole. In the event where both players net sores are tied on the 18th handicap hole, the tie breaker will be decided on the 17th handicap hole, and so on.

$50 of each entrant’s fee will go towards the Last Man Standing contest.
